Up to 40% off Expressiva Nursing Wear

I'm not even an Expressiva Nursing Wear affiliate, but I thought I'd pass on this deal I got in my email today since it said to share it with my friends who are pregnant or nursing. That's some of you, I assume! And if it's not you specifically, you can pass it along to your friends who are.

The Expressiva Black Friday savings have started! Save up to 40% on select styles and get free shipping on orders over $49.

I've had the chance to try out an Expressiva top that I won in a giveaway at Energizer Bunny's Mommy Reports. I liked the patterns and colors they had available (so I chose what I thought was a kicky one, at left) and that most styles didn't scream out "I'm nursing wear!" with weird seams or overlayers. I'm not used to using dedicated nursing wear, so it was kind of interesting to have a top that pulled up at the Empire waistline so discreetly. The only thing I didn't like so much — since at the time I wasn't pregnant or just postpartum — was that the high waistline I had chosen made for a very flowy look that made me in particular (possibly because of my large bust) look like I was still in maternity wear. I think I'll actually give it another go now that I actually need such a thing! If I were to choose over, I'd make sure I chose a more fitted look. I also thought the fabric was kind of thin, but the top I had was a summer top; I imagine the winter looks are a heavier fabric.

Let me be the first to say you don't need nursing clothes to nurse in public (or wherever). That said, you in particular might be more comfortable knowing you won't flash any skin, or there might be occasions when even a usually fear-free nurser wants a special nursing outfit — such as at a formal event that calls for a form-fitting dress and a shaped bodice.

Expressiva also carries nursing bras (a necessity, in my book!), sleepwear, swimwear, baby slings, breastfeeding accessories, and more.
