• Before the storm hits is a good time to wash your diapers in the event that you lose power or water.
• If you do lose power you can always hand wash your diapers using a simple 5-gallon bucket (or other camp style washer) and a plunger.
• Grab an extra bottle (or two) of water to add to your emergency kit for washing diapers should you also lose water during the storm.
• Flat diapers and diaper covers hand wash easily and will dry quickly.
• Don't forget to add a roll of quarters to your emergency kit just in case you have to evacuate and are left laundering your diapers in a coin operated machine.
